State-of-the-art Technology

LENSTAR Myopia

The Lenstar Myopia is a powerful tool for myopia detection due to its high-precision biometric data and fast measurement process. This instrument allows our doctors to detect myopia, monitor its progression, and decide on appropriate treatments.  The Lenstar Myopia was launched in 2020 and uses biometry combined with powerful EyeSuite Myopia software to measure the length of the eye (axial length).

Medmont Topographer

Corneal topography is a computer-assisted procedure used to measure the curvature of the cornea, the front layer of the eye. The corneal topographer projects illuminated circles on the cornea that are reflected back to the computer and used to produce a map of the cornea. A leading-edge topographer is critical to design variety of contact lenses and to monitor how the cornea changes over time with myopia treatments.

Our doctors recommend Optomap for all patients every year to help detect retinal eye disease as early as possible. The state-of-the-art high resolution imaging technology that provides a 200-degree view of the retina. The scanning laser camera captures a digital image of the back of your eyes within seconds and allows a more detailed view of the retina compared to undilated examination. It offers permanent record and side-by-side comparison with the images from previous years, as well as a unique opportunity for you to see the back of your own eyes.
